Like Attracts Like

			

Like attracts like, or so the adage goes The ancients knew only attenuation. The unbreakable whole, the disparate parts, Negations cleared the way for a tradition.

But all this goes, as it goes, for so long. Fair Folly decreed Fortune’s wheel be turned. Babel fell and Alexandria burned.

The thinkers thinned, their thoughts lost to the throng. Through all this one would think we would have learned.
