An Actor Speaks

			
The timbre of his voice,
his escaping sibilant soul
dances with the winds of madness
and though he speaks Latin,
he does not speak Danish,
though his tongue would tell otherwise.
And the soliloquy,
when it is read on cue
Lacks the force of the convicted.
